- Enter the finished size of each granny square (after blocking).
- Add a seam allowance if you'll be seaming squares together (typically 0.25").

Tips
- Block your granny squares before joining — blocking evens out size differences and makes joining easier.
- The "actual" blanket size shown accounts for the grid layout and may differ slightly from your target dimensions.
- Traditional granny squares with worsted weight and a 5mm hook typically finish at 4–6" after blocking.
- Add extra yardage for the joining method (slip stitch, single crochet, or whip stitch join).
