Hexagon Math

A crochet hexagon starts with a magic ring and adds 6 stitches per round (one at each of the 6 corners). After Round 1 (6 sts), Round 2 has 12 sts, Round 3 has 18 sts, and so on.

The flat-to-flat diameter grows approximately 2 stitches' worth per round on each side. The calculator uses your gauge to determine how many rounds reach your target size.
